Channeline Man Entry Sewer Linings
Description of Process
Channeline offers structural GRP segmental linings in any shape. Two piece and multi piece lining segments come with a tapered tongue and groove longitudinal joint and a bell and spigot radial joint. Short length panel units and patented jointing systems allow articulation around bends.

Typical Applications
Channeline systems provide maximum design flexibility for almost any pipe profile: circular, oval, vertically sided and even non-symmetrical. In most cases, Channeline units can be laid under normal or restricted flow conditions, starting from an upstream position, thus eliminating the need for bypass pumping.
Installation
Channeline is typically installed through small shafts or available access points where the pre-sized liners can be fitted. The liners are moved into position, blocked and sealed. Any lateral connections are re-opened at that time and the laterals are reinstated to tie into the existing sewer. Bulkheads are built at designated locations and grouting of the annulus is carried out.
Available Sizes
Channeline can be manufactured to fit any size and any shape pipe.
Materials
The main structure of the liner and the makeup of the liner wall incorporates a corrosion barrier on the inside surface, followed by a layer of pre-formed, powder bound, chopped strand glass mat consolidated with isophthalic resin. The outer surface of the liner is treated with a bonded inert aggregate to enhance adhesion of the backfill substrate which is normally grout or concrete.
