Beaver H-Expander
Description of Process
Kembla Watertech’s Beaver H-Expander is a hydraulic re-rounder that lifts the deformed pipe back into roundness and supplies the damaged area with a supporting stainless steel sleeve.
Typical Applications
Deformation of pipe sections is a common problem in old gravity sewer lines. In the past, severe deformation required excavation and replacement of these sections prior to trenchless rehabilitation. Today, the Beaver H-Expander provides the trenchless solution to this problem.
Installation
The Beaver H-Expander can enter deformations up to 25% and will, in extreme situations, re-open larger deformations by the operation of the front cone section. The 500mm long stainless steel sleeve has a ratchet lock system which locks itself to the exact diameter of the old pipe. Additional sleeves placed in series permit longer repairs. The repair can be finished with either a Tiger Patch Liner for partial rehabilitation or EX Method / Enviroliner / SWP DiaFit lining systems for complete access chamber to access chamber rehabilitation.
Available Sizes
The unit generates 32,000kg of expansion power and covers 150mm to 300mm diameter lines.
Materials
Stainless steel expansion sleeves.
